Apartment D, Address Apartment’s first serviced apartment in Gillingham, Medway, has been closed to guests for its makeover since April 2022. Now, in December, we are happy to say that the apartment is ready to be lived in again!
Apartment D, Gardiner Street
The story began in March 2019, when Apartment D on Gardiner Street welcomed its very first guest. Apartment D began as a test, putting a toe in the waters of the hospitality world, and our first foray into the serviced apartment in Gillingham sector.
Apartment D was very popular and we welcomed over 500 guests in the time period from March 2019 to January 2021. From contractors to Doctors, from families to tourists and even a couple from Tennessee celebrating their anniversary, we have hosted many guests from many different backgrounds. Lovely people, all with interesting and inspiring stories to tell.
Along with many lessons learnt along the way, Apartment D gave us the opportunity to find our feet in the serviced apartment in Gillingham sector and play with ideas, leading us to build upon our foundations. And now, Address Apartments welcome guests into a current total of six serviced apartments in Gillingham, with more properties in the pipeline to add to our roster.
A large 1-bedroom apartment over two floors
Apartment D was a 2-bedroom apartment. However we decided to turn it into a very large 1-bedroom apartment over two floors. With a fresh, modern colour palate and brand new furniture to match, the apartment can accommodate two guests very comfortably. With mood lighting, a large bathroom and equipped with impressively large 55” and 50” Smart TVs, you’ll never want to leave the place.

The town of Gillingham
Gillingham is a town on the River Medway in the north of the English county of Kent. Together with its neighbouring towns of Rochester and Chatham it forms a large urban area known as the Medway Towns.
Perfectly positioned for commutes to and from London by train or car
Centrally located in Kent and next to a mainline train station, we are perfectly positioned for commutes to and from London by train or car. Gillingham railway station is on the Chatham Main Line, serviced by SouthEastern. It is 35 miles down the line from London Victoria. There is also easy travel to the Kent coast. London is easily accessible by car, as drivers can take the A2 arterial road and travel the 32 miles to the capital.
A safe and traffic-free shopping environment
Apartment D is walking distance from the High Street with local shops and amenities. The pedestrianised High Street provides shoppers with a safe and traffic-free retail environment to enjoy shopping in. The town has a large street market in the High Street on Saturdays and Mondays, and is the busiest in the whole of Medway.
